· United Way donation received for June income. · Referee and tournament registration expenses were a large part of the June expenses as expected. · CD due August 1 and will renew. |

· No meetings for summer. |

· MUSC has no voting privileges with the South District because the club is now a part of the SW District, however, MUSC Premier, C1, C2, and some C3 teams still play teams from the South District. |
Preston D. made a motion for MUSC to no longer attend South District meetings; seconded by Leonard W. and motion accepted. It was also suggested for MUSC to keep abreast of South District events for matter of MUSC interest. |

· Fall pre-registration information completed tonight and will be mailed this week – approximately 600 mailings. Registration also available on MUSC website. · Fall sign-up will begin Saturday, July 23 and end Saturday July 30. Saturday, July 23 will be the walk-up sign-up at Flying Penguin 10 AM to 5 PM. · MYSA District Tournament will be held at Land of Memories July 15 to 11 with July 18 for make-ups related to bad weather. 3 fields (2, 3, and 5) will be used. Girl teams (22 teams) registered playing a total of 12 games. U12 to U16 and boy teams are U11 to U17 (25 teams) playing a total of 13 games. Grid of playing dates, times, fields, and teams presented. Details of registration, tents/concessions, port-a-potties, traffic control, need of 2 field marshals, and referees in process of completion by planning group. No MUSC apparel will be sold at event. |
Suggested for volunteers other than board members to participate with this activity with enough “lead” time. Will obtain the MUSC large plastic banner to hang outside Flying Penguin during registration walk-up. Candy MK will contact Mary W. for banner to be given to Jack L. who plans to be at registration 2 to 5 PM. |

· MSU trainers continued to be used during the summer per coach request. Currently not getting a lot of requests as season is coming to an end. |

Field Development Preston D. |
· Getting a future soccer fields is still in the community discussion. Free Press recently had an article about fundraiser for further development of the Kennedy Soccer Complex in honor of the late Tom Anderson from Community Services. Development would include concessions, benches, and lights. |
MUSC supported the Kennedy Field development through significant donation 2004. |

· Expense report given and estimated the tournament made about $400 this year which was equivalent to last year. |

· Total of 97 players with 16 teams, 10 boy and 6 girl teams. |
Recommend future considerations for more coach guidance and direction and more preparation for players from one skill level to the next. |

· Required to complete interim report. |
Ron E. will complete report that is due July 30 but would like help. |

· Field Maintenance for SW District Tournament |
· Soccer fields not getting mowed in timely manner; grass is getting too long for players and ball rolling. |
Any field concerns, please contact Paul J. and he will contact Community Services. It is important to keep communication open between MUSC and Community Services. |

New Business Festival of Trees |
· Request from Festival of Trees for donation. |
Agreed to continue to support as have for last 2 years. This is also a publicity line item. Paul G. made motion to donate $300 for MUSC soccer theme tree at Festival of Lights at Summit Center for 2005;seconded by Paul J. and motion carried. |

New Business Viking Training Camp Request |
· Letter to MUSC and all youth sport organizations for all day volunteer help at Viking Training Camp. |
Board agreed to decline request at this time.
