Treasurer’s Report Ron Evan	· Report given. Largest income from Competitive registration fees. Will adjust budget projections to reflect increased referee wages for 2005. Peter J. also noted the budget for Referee Training could be reduced. · Certificate of Deposits (5) reviewed (length of term, % rate, value, and due date). Handout provided. · Domain server expired. Secretary’s Report Candy MK	· Minutes reviewed; one correction about District Representative comment about ODP. · Reminder to all board members to complete Disclosure/Consent form.	Motion to approve minutes by Preston D.; seconded by Ron E. Minutes approved. Give consents to Leonard W.
South District Representative Preston Doyle	· No meeting in December.	Will sent email to MUSC coaches of this opportunity. District meetings will begin again in Fall.
V.P. Administrative Paul Gaspar	· Paul Johns has accepted board position. Welcome Paul. · Preliminary review of competitive teams given. U12 Girls over by 1; U15 Boys not showing over roster concerns this year.	There are possible candidates. They will need to be interviewed by the Board.
Registrar/SW District Rep. Kris Erickson	· Kris has agreed to be the SW District rep for boys and girls. Biggest numbers are from New Ulm, Waseca, and St. James. Looking at playing level as a C3.	Meeting will occur possibly every other month. The next meeting is scheduled in New Ulm January 15 and March 5 both Saturdays. The meetings last about 3 hours.
V.P. Development John Carlson	· Approximately 50% of teams have assigned coaches. · Preliminary discussion has occurred for MUSC sponsored soccer camps/clinics with MSU, Mankato girls soccer coaches. · Still need a representative for the 2 day MYSA coach meeting Friday, Feb. 25 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM and Saturday, Feb. 26 8:00 AM to 1 PM.
V.P. League Play Marv Dandurand	· All City Banquet done. · All City process evaluation group met. · Newspaper release planned for All City Team players.	Banquet celebration went smoothly. All Athletic Directors attended this year. Sponsors recognized in the program. Suggestions made for creating more objectivity with voting such as grade of student, played 2 or more years of varsity soccer, coaches determine who is on roster by years of varsity play. Will keep these suggestions in mind next year. Marv D. is gathering information about players for newspaper release.
Fundraising/Publicity Mary Wiese	· Magnets with MUSC logo and website ordered. · Flowers purchased in memory of Tom Anderson, Community Services director and supporter of MUSC. · More MUSC thank you cards ordered. · Report that of Sponsorship responses coming. How do we best recognize them? · Want to get information out about registration in utility bills and to schools this January.
Rec Plus Bert B./Rick .	· Beginning to look at timeline for Soccer Fest. Will be coordinated with New Ulm soccer club for U8, U10, and U12 combined Rec Plus and C3 teams. · Tournaments fees are U8 @ $75, U10 @ $100 and U12 @ $125. · Discussed renting the Floyd Rodgers building. This would also add a lot of additional parking space which was a concern last year. · Registration for Rec Plus would be Feb. 19 as “walk up” and March 26 as closing.	Date set for Saturday, June 11 at Land of Memories. Governnaires Drum and Bugle Corp will not be there this year (practicing). Will continue to get more information if building available and price for part of day or entire day.

·Referee Proposal – Rick F.	· Terms of payment for referees discussed as per handout (when referees receive the full game fee, no game fees, late arrival, and failure to notify the assignor in reasonable time)	Motion to adopt terms of payment for referees as presented per handout by Marv D. and seconded by Preston D., motion carried. Update will be made to MUSC website for Referee coaching handbook.
New Business Belle Plaine request Leonard W.	· Request from Belle Plaine youth soccer to play under the “umbrella” of MUSC. MUSC has done this before for other flegling club until they become independent.	Recommended for Leonard W. to pursue getting more information and bring back to next meeting.
· Rec Plus	· Discussion about getting reversible green/white shirts for Rec Plus.	Will get more information about prices and if there is such a shirt.
